How to Practice English to the Foreigner

How to Practice English to the Foreigner

One of the ways to know how deep we have understood English is by practicing our English to the foreigners directly. But sometimes, it is difficult to practice it to them because we aren’t brave to do that. Why? Is it because their bodies are big and their nose are long and sharp? I’m sure that most of you are not afraid of their bodies noses but your reason is you are not sure about  your English. So in this occasion I want to give you some tips to practice your English to the foreigners.

1. Don’t disturb them if they look busy

2. Don’t make your face scaring but please be relax and often smile

3. Greet them and you can try to ask their help to take a picture and you can go on by having a                    conversation.

4. You can start to tell them that you really want to practice your English (tell them that you are being         tested right now), and you can start to give them relax question, such as :

a.       What is your name?

b.      Where are you from?

c.       How many tourism places have you visited?

d.      What do you think about the tourism places in Indonesia?

e.       What Indonesian food do you like?

5. Don’t ask these question to them :

a.       Their privacy : age, marital status, religion

b.      Why do you come here?

c.       What do you come here for?
